Hi, I’m Rebecca!

I decided to start writing ‘Musings of a Narcissist’ as I often ponder on the fact that, as a generation, we pump so much content about ourselves into the world through social networks, but how much of this information is actually benefiting ourselves or others? I know it sounds pretentious but I wanted to have a outlet – albeit a slightly self-obsessed, trivial one – that would enable me to form a portfolio of things I am proud of and would like to share with others. Even if one person finds this blog interesting/thought-provoking I’ll be satisfied!

I decided to give the blog such an irritating, pretentious name because I believe that this website really is nothing more than a narcissistic ‘intellectual-indulgence’ (yes, I am also feeling quite ill about how conceited that sounds!) and so I really appreciate you reading my thoughts and ideas. If you have any comments or criticisms about my catalogue, please feel free to give them to me in a constructive, kind way!
